Johnnie Walker on the Rocks!

Johnnie Walker on the Rocks! A local favorite in these parts. It's also been enjoyed in Palau.

Mr. Walker ran his boat aground on Magundas Reef. It's been there for a couple of weeks. No media coverage, not sure why, did some pretty gnarly damage to the reef. A friend of mine took these pics from a helo.

The word on the street is that this was an unfortunate combination of the autopilot and some entertainment along for the ride. Wow, what a ride that must have been! 

T-27: Another Happy Morning

Sophia is always very pleasant in the morning. Today was no exception. She was bright and bubbly and having a lot of fun before heading off to the community germ pool. 

T-28: Kick Flip

T-29: VADM K. R. Wheeler

I took this shot of the VADM K.R. Wheeler while at work today. The Wheeler is the MSC's OPDS (offshore petroleum distribution system). It is prepositioned here in Guam and makes it's home at Naval Base Guam. Today they were testing their fire fighting gear. The ship can stay stationary unassisted  with it's directional thrusters. A very cool ship!

T-30: Happy Girl Taking a Bath

Sophia graduated to the big bath tub last week! She now enjoys bath time even more and gets to crawl around in the tub. Tonight she pulled her self into a standing position for the first time in the tub. Too much fun! 

T-31: Tumon Sunset

We went out to dinner at Jamaican Grill with the Hettels. After Dinner we went for a stroll along the beach in Tumon. The Sunset was beautiful, one of the best I've seen in months. I will truly miss the Guam sunsets! Here is a another shot. 

 

T-32: Wahoo Fishing

I went fishing today with John on his friend Mike's boat. It was a great albeit wet day on the water. Caught a couple nice mahi and one nice wahoo. 

T-36: Pack Out

Day two of out Pack-out. The mover's loaded the first crates today. Can't wait to get to the other side of this process! 

T-55: Wacha doin boys?

Sophia chillin with her bros after school. Already just wants to be one of the gang. 

T-57: Bye Bye Rod Bender

The Rod Bender is up for sale and the kids wanted a picture with the boat before it's sold. She's going to be missed. Some great memories on that boat!
